About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Building Surveyor in the Property Services Directorate.

The role is within our property services surveying team and will responsible for managing capital works projects. These projects include major empty homes refurbishments, building safety projects and supporting the decarbonisation of our homes.

About You
You will ideally be an experienced Surveyor/Project Manager (residential housing experience is not essential but advantageous) with the following technical skills: - Building Surveying Project Management Cost Management/estimates Knowledge of building regulations and CDM Awareness of decarbonisations challenges

As a Building Surveyor you will be accountable for managing planned and responsive maintenance programmes including major refurbishments and building safety works.

If you have excellent attention to detail, great planning & organisational skills as well as good knowledge & experience of the building surveying world....... this could be your next career move. Understanding of the current Welsh Housing Quality Standard is essential.

The role is based on a 35 hour week, Monday Friday, although full flexibility will be required for the position as there may be unsociable hours on occasion.
