Paediatric Dietitan

Due to a secondment, we are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive and resourceful Dietitian to join our team until March 2024 at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust.

You will be a key member of the dietetic team providing dietetic care to children and young people (CYP) with food allergies, under the supervision of the Lead Allergy Dietitian.

You will ideally possess paediatric experience, however consideration will be given to an experienced Band 5 Dietitian who demonstrates the relevant skills and knowledge, and wishes to develop paediatric experience.

You will be a compassionate, accountable individual who treats all colleagues, patients and service users with respect and seeks to deliver excellence in their role. You will share the Trust values and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.

The post focuses on CYP who have food allergies is mainly outpatient based, however inpatient reviews may be required. You will be supporting the allergy dietetic team to meet service demands and will be working within the broader Allergy MDT.

The department will provide support for your training and are strongly committed to Continuing Professional Development and Clinical Governance.
