We’re hiring for an experienced **CNC Miller** to join a busy manufacturing company based in **Gloucester. **You will be responsible for setting and operating the CNC machining centres and editing programs.

**What’s on offer?**
- £30,000 - £33,000 per annum + overtime
- Mon - Thurs 6:00am - 2:00pm, Friday - 6:00am - 11.30 / Mon - Thurs 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday 11.30am - 5:00pm (38 hours)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Training will be provided

**What will you be doing as a CNC Miller?**
- Ensuring documentation is completed fully and accurately when performing any duties on the shop floor
- Carrying out quality checks on products and recording the information accurately
- Making suggestions on how to improve the processes in relation to production quality or manufacturing time
- Meeting production and quality criteria
- Assisting in training and mentoring new operatives and apprentices
- Carrying out additional reasonable duties as required
- Raising any performance or H&S issues immediately with the shift leader or supervisor
- Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are followed
- Maintaining a high level of housekeeping standards in any area you operate

**What do you need?**
- Knowledge of setting and operating 4 and 5 axis trunnions will be highly advantageous as will setting and operating CNC routers
- To be able to demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience in setting and operating CNC machining centres in a fast-paced production environment
- You will be responsible for setting and operating machines based on standard setting sheets linked to each job and ensuring all parts conform to drawing and instructions
- Knowledge of machining composite materials would be advantageous
- To be confident in the use of standard hand-held inspection equipment with knowledge of CMM and Shadowgraph would be advantageous
- Experience of working in a target driven production environment
- Good communication and organisation skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
