Our client, a highly reputable civil engineering contractor focusing predominately on infrastructure and groundwork projects, is going through a sustained period of growth and are seeking an experienced Site Manager for commercial projects based in and aroundPerth.

Operating predominately within groundworks packages, our client has a long-standing reputation within the local market.With an array of successful contract awards recently, they are looking to appoint a Site Manager capable of managing groundwork packagesup to £9m in value.

**As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for**:

- Managing health and safety on-site, ensuring it is a safe place to work, everyone is inducted and has the correct PPE for tasks they are given.
- Ensuring contracts are delivered safely on time, within budget and to the clients’ specification.
- Managing any direct workers & subcontractors on site.
- Maintaining good on/off site working relationships.
- Ordering materials & equipment and ensuring it is on-site for specified dates.
- Carry out Safety Audits as required by line management.
- Liaising with clients directly ensuring the delivery of high-quality product.

**Background/experience required**:

- Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager in groundwork projects.
- A current holder SMSTS (5 Day), CSCS card and First Aid Certificates.
- Commercially/Contractually aware.
- Previous civil engineering experience is essential.
- Appropriate knowledge of health and safety polices.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills.
- A full UK driving license.
