**Production Supervisor**

**Location: Sittingbourne, Kent**

**Pay: £13.97 Per Hour**

**Permanent, Full Time**

We have an opportunity with our client situated outside of Sittingbourne. You will be working in conjunction with the Production Manager and Senior Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operation of the production area efficiently and effectively.

Due to the rural location, it is essential that you have your own transport.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain a safe working environment in line with the company H&S policy.
- Ensure the quality and food safety of the finished product.
- Ensuring 100% OTIF delivery to all customers in line with the Production plan.
- Maintain a clean working environment through GMP and enforcing a CAYG policy.
- Ensure daily KPI’s are met through the efficient and effective utilisation of the plant and equipment.
- Training and development of the team.
- Effective stock management, ensuring daily material requirements are requested in a timely manner, avoiding wastage, and using stock on a FIFO basis.
- Ensuring all compliance documentation is completed in full daily.
- Attending daily meetings, providing clear and accurate information to all levels of the business.
- Monitor and manage holidays, attendance, and timekeeping in the area, taking remedial action as required.

**Skills and Experience**
- It’s a physical role so you will need to be physically fit
- Have high levels of numeracy and literacy
- Have good IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Previous supervisory/management experience in food manufacturing or FMCG
- Ideally, you will also hold certificates in HACCP and food hygiene
