The University of Bradford are pleased to be able to advise of a fixed term vacancy for a Health, safety and Security Departmental Coordinator to join the health and safety team; the role is campus based with some built in flexibility. (please note this is to cover for the current post holder who is on a secondment, the post may become permanent).
The main purpose of the role includes the day-to-day management of the internal health & safety data management systems, the statutory test and inspection schedule and programme in accordance with legislative requirements.
To oversee the day-to-day operation of the reception team ensuring that there is a continuous service and the team are fully trained.
To provide a confidential, personal assistant support to the Head of Health, Safety and Security (Head of HSS) to achieve the University's Health Safety and Security's, strategy and objectives, working collaboratively with Faculties and Directorates and developing excellent working relations with colleagues across the University and external stakeholders.
To provide line management responsibility to the H&S Technical Support and Access Control Operator.
Microsoft Office skills are essential to this role along with a good command of the English language.
