An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Wood Machinist to join our team. This role is an active physical role and the successful applicant will be driven, eager to learn all aspects of the role and the company, to deliver the highest standards of service to our customers and internal departments consistently.

**Key Tasks**
- Learning to operate Woodworking Machinery and various processes
- Timber identification
- Working to the highest standards of Health & Safety
- Accurate preparation and calculation of orders
- Housekeeping and maintenance of Mill and Workshops
- Liaise with other departments to ensure job lists are completed on time and to the highest standard

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**:

- Ability to demonstrate good level of Mathematics.
- Confident and excellent communication skills.
- A high degree of self-motivation and drive.
- Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
