Sharp has an excellent new opportunity for a **Pre Sales Solutions** Consultant.

Ideally based in the Midlands but we will consider other locations.

The role has a nationwide reach.

The Solutions Consultant will support our internal & external sales channels with proactive pre-sales technical solutions support throughout the whole pre-sales process on both Sharp internally developed and third-party solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- Attend end customer sales appointments to uncover & develop solution sales opportunities.
- Understand and analyse customer business requirements and goals.
- Select, design and present best fit solutions that provide customer benefit and value.
- Create solution pricing & help develop a value proposition to strengthen the proposal.
- Project manage customer trials and technical proof of concept solution implementations before handover to the post sales team.
- Conduct generic and bespoke product demonstrations to help build customer buy in and achieve a successful sale.
- Utilise project management methodology where appropriate to ensure project success.
- Perform tender writing to support solution based tender responses where required.
- Promote Sharp internal and third-party solutions to sales staff and business partners to help increase solution sales.
- Develop sales team’s knowledge & skill levels through group and 1-1 training & coaching to help increase sales confidence in selling software solutions.
- Coach the sales team in the need for added professional services to increase professional services revenue for the business.
- Ensure opportunities are scoped with Statement of Work documentation completed, signed off and shared.
- Ensure that customer activity is recorded within our CRM solution.
- Pro-actively liaise with software vendors to ensure you are up to date with the latest sales and technical product information and solution advancements.
- Perform personal learning to ensure that you are familiar with developing technologies and innovation that will strengthen your credibility with the customer.

**Personal Specification**
- Proven track record performing a pre-sales role
- Experience with document management, document capture and document workflow is particularly of interest.
- Experience with print solutions and Visual solutions is also very desirable.
- A thorough understanding of business process & operation
- Excellent communication & customer facing skills.
- Confident at presenting at all levels.
- Sales focused but with a solid technical knowledge.
- Focused and self-motivated, shows initiative in achieving objectives.
- A team player, willing to support colleagues and share ideas.
- Demonstrates an enthusiastic and 'can do' approach.
- Proactive and contributes from expertise to help provide value add solutions.
- Exceptional time management and organisational ability.
- Self-driven desire to keep up with developing technologies.
- Takes personal pride in all work produced.
- Is flexible, willing to work throughout the UK with overnight stays when required.
- Full driving license
