**Digital Marketing Apprentice - John Clark Motor Group Aberdeen**

**Purpose**

This role is focused on the day-to-day management of digital requests. This is a hybrid role and working with the Digital Marketing Manager and the wider Digital team, the Digital Marketing Apprentice will be responsible for the daily website changes, creating custom reports, digital campaign analysis, planning and implementing group campaigns.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for regular website updates to keep the core John Clark Motor Group websites up to date.
- Manage the digital marketing portal and assign digital requests to the relevant team to execute.
- To manage & follow up on digital requests with 3rd party suppliers such as G-forces, Hamptons, Auto Trader, Gubagoo and Trustpilot etc.
- Responsible for digital campaign analysis and compare performance against the business objective to ensure the KPI’s are achieved.
- Responsible for the planning & implementation of any group marketing events such as Tyre Safety Month and The Drive Sale.
- Work closely with the digital performance teams to ensure our website complies with digital best practice guidelines.
- Create and schedule digital marketing reports using Google Data Studio to be sent to the relevant departments.
- Assist the HR department with regular updates on the company Glassdoor account.
- Ensure the Group Youtube channel is up to date and the playlists are refreshed regularly.
- Oversee the monitoring of our closest competitors in each marketplace, keeping tabs on important changes in the market that might affect our chances of success.
- Writing and proofreading copy for online campaigns.

**Requirements**:

- Good understanding of digital marketing
- Strong analytical, reporting and excel skills required.
- Good verbal and written skills.
- A passion for digital marketing with an up to date understanding of latest trends.
- Passion for social media and digital marketing
- Creative and able to contribute new ideas within our team
- IT Literate (Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel)
