Global Insurance corporation seeks a Business Analyst to join an existing team and to play a key role in the analysis and design of a suite of next generation systems employing AI and Blockchain technologies which will be used across the insurance businessto assist with pricing, underwriting and claims management.
A large element of this work data transformation aspect of this programme of work which will span a number of years and focus on the integration of data into the systems being delivered.
This is a senior, full life cycle Business Analysis role with extensive stakeholder engagement to elicit and define detailed requirements, creation of functional specifications to take through to the delivery phase.
Subsequently the successful Business Analyst will manage interaction with both the various business sponsors (internal and external) product owners etc to support major system enhancements across the region. Finally, you will be responsible for overseeing systemtesting and UAT from a business perspective ensuring that system enhancements meet the strategic business needs.
We are searching for an experienced Business Analyst who has (ideally gained) experience within the insurance sector. You will ideally be familiar with policy administration systems and be comfortable working to both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The successfulBA will be comfortable engaging senior level stakeholders on an international basis and working with technical teams in an onshore/offshore consultancy vendor model. You will be well versed in requirements gathering, be able to create functional specificationand be familiar with UAT processes. Any experience of SQL and Data Driven / Database design environments would be beneficial but non-essential.
A flexible approach will be required due to the geographies of the business users and development teams with some occasional travel to both Crawley, West Sussex and continental Europe (mínimal); excellent organisational and communication skills are pre-requisite.
