Job Title: Customer Call Centre Operative

Location: Birmingham, UK

Hourly Rate: £9.90 per hour

Overview:
We are seeking Customer Call Centre Operatives to join our incoming call centre team within a local council. As a Customer Call Centre Operative, you will be responsible for answering and responding to a high volume of calls from members of the public, providinginformation and assistance, and handling a variety of inquiries and complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

- Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
- Identify the needs of the caller and provide appropriate information and assistance
- Respond to inquiries and complaints in a calm and empathetic manner
- Record and log all calls and interactions accurately in our database
- Escalate more complex or sensitive issues to a supervisor as needed
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including data protection and confidentiality regulations

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle difficult or angry customers
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of calls
- Proficiency in computer and database systems
- High school diploma or equivalent

Please note that this is a temporary position with the possibility of extension.
