**Mobile HGV Mechanic**

**Location: Sheffield**

**Salary: Up to £20.00 P/H**

**Work Hours**:Monday to Friday

They are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Mechanic to join the team. If you have a passion for maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles and looking for a rewarding career.

**The role**:
As an HGV Mechanic you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of all heavy goods vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and performing necessary inspections on a variety of commercial vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with the team to meet repair and maintenance schedules.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an HGV mechanic.
- A valid HGV Mechanic certification or relevant trade qualification.
- Strong knowledge of heavy goods vehicles and their systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Class 2 HGV License (desirable)

**Salary**: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
