Warehouse Operative - Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent electrical wholesaler with 8 branches located across Sussex and Kent.

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to be a part of our busy distribution centre, based in Bexhill, East Sussex.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

- Load and unload vans & lorries in a safe and efficient manner.
- Receive/process shipments.
- Pick, pack and ship orders.
- Put stock away.
- Quarterly stock take.
- Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation.
- Always keep warehouses clean and tidy.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential.

This role may become permanent after a 3 month probationary period.

Please be advised the listed starting salary is minimum wage for those aged 21 or over working 45 hours per week. Starting salary will be from the National Living Wage appropriate for your age; however, is negotiable depending on experience.

**Salary**: £26,769.60 per year
