Buyer Beauty Fragrance

**THE COMPANY**

A retailer with stores both in and outside the UK has partnered exclusively with Stephen at Rise to hire a Buyer who has experience buying branded beauty or fragrance product. This is an opportunity to join a smaller, non-corporate team, and work with afabulously warm and experienced Head of Buying. In this role you will buy from big brand houses and work with smaller companies across the luxury goods sector - sourcing unique brands with brilliant products, helping them reach a wider audience while at thesame time delighting customers with something new.

**THE ROLE**
- Buying branded products, curating a mix of well-known and lesser-known brands across beauty and fragrance
- Taking the overall buying strategy and interpreting this to define the buying and range strategy across your categories
- Completing sales analysis using market and customer insight data to inform buying decisions
- Presenting product range proposals to Senior Management team
- Working with merchandising, marketing, and sales teams to define and deliver promotion strategy
- Completing UK and EU travel throughout the year for trade shows and supplier visits
- Managing and mentoring an Assistant Buyer

**ABOUT YOU**

You will need demonstrable experience in a buying role, with experience of working with the big brand houses within either fragrance or beauty. There will be a junior/assistant buyer supporting you in this role so any people management experience is desirable,but not required, because the Head of Buying can help you develop these skills with support and mentoring if you haven’t done this before. You will need a driving licence to visit UK suppliers.

**THE REWARD**

You will receive a salary of up to £45,000 (depending on experience) plus hybrid working, healthcare, progression opportunities, and other benefits.
