Toolmaker

RMS are pleased to be working on an opportunity for a **Tool Maker** to work with a leading sheet metal client based in Ferryhill.

This role will be working Monday to Thursday, 8AM - 5PM and Friday 7AM - 12:30PM and is offering a salary of up to £37k per annum, depending on experience. This will be paid weekly.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Be required to produce bespoke manufacturing aids using a variety of manual milling, turning and grinding machines along with a variety of other machines and hand tools.
- Experience of setting and operating CNC milling machines or lathes would also be desirable, but not essential.
- Responsible for maintaining your own quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and supplies.
- Previous experience within a similar role as Toolmaker within the engineering industry is essential.
- Problem solving and tool improvement.
- Must be able to work on own initiative.
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
- Be organised and have the ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Be able to communicate effectively to own team and other departments.
- Be efficient with working practices.
