Picker/packer

Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Conduct quality control checks on items before packing
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to operate packaging machinery
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks
- Operate forklifts for moving goods within the warehouse
- Load and unload delivery lorries
- Organise and stock inventory efficiently
- Handle heavy lifting of materials when required
- Utilise the warehouse management system for tracking inventory
- Manage materials handling within the warehouse

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in quality control procedures
- Mechanical knowledge for operating packaging machinery
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes
- Forklift operation skills
- Ability to load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Capability to manage stock effectively in a warehouse setting
- Physically fit for heavy lifting tasks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.40-£11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
