Purchase Ledger Assistant

SF Recruitment are working with a business who is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a team on a permanent basis in Sheffield.
The role is recruited on a full-time basis, offers hybrid working, you will be reporting to Senior Management.
Our client is very reputed business who serves in variety of sectors banking, finance, commercial business.
**Some of your main responsibilities will be**:
- As Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for processing invoices onto both clients' and nominal accounts, maintaining supplier accounts and completing payment runs in line with policy & Agreement.
- Producing reports from supplier data for use
- Direct Debit processing, ensuring supplier invoices/statements are obtained for posting to minimise unreconciled bank entries.
- Understand the roles of colleagues in all areas of Financial Operations, recognising the end-to-end processing of transactions to be able to work flexibly and deal with, or refer queries in a timely manner.
**Desired skills**:
- Strong numeracy skills and an understanding of general bookkeeping principals.
- Ideally experience of operating in a high-volume purchase ledger function.
- Have a flexible and proactive approach, be able to communicate well with people throughout the organisation.
