Nine Twenty are excited to be partnering with our prestigious drinks client in the recruitment for a Distiller to join their team permanently. The role of the Distiller is to support the Distillery Manager in the management of their Distillery Operations. The Distiller will be responsible for overseeing the creation of the new make spirit ensuring production volumes are met.

The Distiller role covers a wide range of responsibilities including encouraging, motivating and managing the team in the production of new make spirit and single malt scotch whisky

**The role covers the following key areas**:

- Health, Safety & Quality
- Managing the Operations team
- Efficiency of the Distillery Operation
- Leading & Managing People

**Requirements of the role are but not limited to**:

- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
- Experience within malt whisky & new make spirit production
- Strong understanding of cask/tanker filling & warehousing operations
- IBD General Certificate in Distilling
- Ability to check quality of product & performance and conduct investigations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support and lead teams with an authentic, supportive and engaging approach

**Monday to Friday 38 hours per week**
