Barna Shields are currently recruiting for a **Transport Coordinator** on behalf of our client based in Southampton. Our client is one of the UK’s leading specialists in warehouse services and distribution for the travel retail industry.

**The role**:

- Planning routes and deliveries
- Ensuring vehicles and drivers are legally compliant
- Monitoring deliveries using GPS
- Ensuring goods are delivered on time and in a satisfactory condition
- Working collaboratively to improve the transportation process
- Perform quality control checks and use internal management systems effectively

**About you**:

- Previous transport/logistics experience, able to understand terminology
- Proactive and able to show initiative
- Excellent time-management, often managing conflicting priorities
- Good problem-solving skills
- Motivated to improve and succeed
