**About us**:
The Misbourne is an 11-18 Academy in the picturesque village of Great Missenden in the heart of the Chilterns. We have nearly 1100 students on roll including a successful and growing Sixth Form. **About the role**:
We have a strong English team delivering a curriculum intended to develop engaged and well-behaved students to be creative, articulate, imaginative learners who are confident and secure in their opinions and thoughts.

We are looking for someone who could play a part in helping us achieve that vision, for every student. We would love to work with you if you are hungry to grow and learn and have a keen interest in becoming the best teacher you can be, by building effective relationships and instilling in students the same love of English that you yourself will have.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious English teacher who is passionate about curriculum and has a desire to shape the learning and outcomes of our students. The opportunity to become our Assistant Curriculum Leader of English has arisen following the planned relocation of a member of staff. This is an excellent and rare opportunity to join a well-resourced and supportive department, with a particular focus on leading Key Stage Three, within a strong and caring academy.
