As a Fraud & Financial Crime Senior Advisor you’ll be working in a squad working across a wide range crime tasks, your work focuses on protecting our customers & our firm from various different fraud typologies.
Your role will be focused on supporting the various workstreams and aiding the day-to-day management of the daily tasks, in addition to this you’ll also be aiding the training and development of your colleagues.
You’ll be working closely with your Fraud & Financial Crime Team Manager ensuring SLAs are met at all times, monitoring performance daily and intraday to ensure any weak areas are acknowledged and responded to, to drive improvement and performance consistentlywithin the team.
**As a Fraud & Financial Crime Senior Advisor you’ll have main focuses in assisting**:

- Make sure our customers (& victims) are satisfied: their issues fixed quickly & completely. This will include detecting fraud, proactive customer notification, remediation, and response. This will involve organising people around you and taking quick actionwhen you see a problem arising - helping to build processes that are fit for purpose, supporting training, or addressing something which isn’t working.
- Helping each member of your team with their personal and professional development.
- helping them through hard times & celebrating their successes.

**What will you be doing day-to-day as Fraud & Financial Crime Senior Advisor?**:

- Building a strong customer-centric culture & ensuring the team stays focused on what really matters: protecting our customers & businesses from Fraud & Financial Crime.
- Leading the training and development of advisors by: Delivering training sessions and offering coaching & support to your team to achieve their personal & professional goals. This will involve keeping up to date with any process changes, creation of and maintainingany training material and working with new and established members of the team.
- Empowering others & yourself to spot opportunities to make a difference & bring change to the business.
- Building your knowledge & sharing knowledge with team & peers.
- Motivating your team - we’re rapidly growing & changing you’ll need to ensure your team remain engaged through times of demand.
- Overall day-to-day management support.

**Your working life?**:

- Monday to Friday with some weekend work based on business need. Shifts can range between 8am-6pm.
- Hybrid working.
- Microsoft Surface Pro & equipment.

**Core Activities**:

- Drive a quality and customer focused approach across the department, ensuring customer outcomes are appropriate, fair and within FCA guidance.
- Develop and sustain an engaging, supportive, and high performing culture, by championing N Browns values and behaviours.
- Work closely with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure all outputs are accurate and delivering enhanced performance levels.
- Challenge processes and procedures to deliver improvements to operational efficiency and cost base.
- Conduct weekly audits of frontline tasks to monitor and eliminate risk, feeding back where appropriate.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to deliver all business change requirements, and across the wider business where requested.
