WB Power Services are currently recruiting for a Head of Procurement reporting into the Finance Director and work in our head office, in Heanor, Derbyshire. This is a superb opportunity for a Head of Procurement to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for a driven and motivated Head of Procurement to support the business through these exciting times.

**The Role**
- Oversee a high-quality, comprehensive procurement service.
- Ensuring that orders are placed with the right suppliers.
- Following our approved commercial process through to goods receipted.
- Make sure timely payments are made to our suppliers.
- Work to continuously improve standards.
- You’ll work closely with the rest of WB Power Services Ltd finance team.
- Ensure that reporting, planning and business controls are operating effectively.
- Deliver an efficient service to the business for the procurement and distribution of parts.
- Ensuring we do the right thing, first time.
- Producing reports to deadlines for the Finance Director.
- Working to WB Power Services Ltd procedures and using our own bespoke systems.
- Getting involved in the detail of the teams.
- Conducting root cause analysis.

**The Person**
- Degree in business management/contract management or procurement-related field.
- CIPS qualification and/or NVQ in supply chain management/HND in procurement.
- 5 years’ experience working in procurement.
- Experience in hands-on, line management.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster strong relationships.
- Talented in negotiating and networking.
- Solid knowledge and experience of suppliers or third-party management software.

**Salary**: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
