**About us**:

To complement the work we do, the practice is looking for someone who has experience of working with adults, children and families who have a history of trauma and dissociation, incorporates the language of working with parts of the self into their approach and is trained in EMDR, or other psychotherapeutic modalities.

You will be under the supervision of clinical director Dr Dawn Harris, a consultant forensic and clinical psychologist with vast experience working in the field of trauma and dissociation.

**About you**:
Master’s Degree or higher in relevant disciplines such as psychology, counselling, medicine, neuroscience, or related discipline. You must be able to practice independently and be fully licenced to do so.

Knowledge of the DSM-V and/or ICD-11 as a means for diagnosing and guiding treatment.

Experienced in using EMDR and/or other therapeutic modalities which will be used along with neurofeedback (training will be provided in neurofeedback if not already trained in this therapeutic technique).

Experience working with adults and children with mental health problems and neurodiverse challenges.

Experience of working with trauma and dissociation and being comfortable and able to use parts/ego state language.

At least 5 years’ experience working in the mental health field with 2-3 years post-psychotherapy qualification

Experience of working with families desirable

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Able to self-organise, and work well under pressure.

Be able to both work alone and as part of a team.

Proficient in using Microsoft office

**Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)**:
Administer Neurofeedback and other evidence-based trauma focussed psychotherapeutic modalities such as EMDR to individuals with behavioural and/or mental health disorders.

Assume responsibility for the execution of the individualised treatment plan.

Select neurofeedback protocols aimed at maximizing effectiveness of the electrode placement.

Manage the progress of all clients.

Adhere to clinical governance framework.

Maintain case files with integrity, including assessment reports, session notes, treatment plans, and diagnosis.

Implement Neurofeedback and biofeedback training protocols when meeting with assigned clients which may include two sessions per week.

Working directly with the Clinical Director to ensure quality of care and client progress

Work with an average of 4 clients per day at one hour per session.

When requested attend marketing engagements

To perform other related duties as assigned.
