NURSING ASSOCIATE - BAND 4

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nursing Associates or Nursing associate trainee to join our inpatient teams at South West London and St. Georges Mental Health Trust.

You need to have a genuine passion in working with older adults, and willing to make a difference in their lives. This role is pivotal in supporting the team in delivering care. You will be expected to deliver high standards of care incorporating the recovery approach to cover all aspects of health needs and risks within a safe environment by working closely with the relevant community services. This will involve giving support to individuals to meet their psychological and physical health needs.

The trust is committed to developing its nursing workforce and is looking to support Nursing Associates to take part in training to become Registered Mental Health Nurses.

Jasmine ward is a 16 bedded unit at Tolworth Hospital in Surbiton, we offer care and treatment for male and female patients over 65 years of age. service offers Inpatient care for older people with mental health problems, provides assessment and treatment of older people with a range of diagnoses, who require hospital care due to the severity of need. We provide services for patients cannot be cared for in the community or other settings, due to the intensity and expertise of the care required. Within this setting all aspects of physical health, social care needs and risks are jointly managed by a multi-disciplinary team, which forms part of a planned and integrated holistic system approach to care.

**About the location**:
Jasmine ward is based at Tolworth Hospital in Surbiton. Tolworth is easily accessible via the Southern line from Waterloo Station to Surbiton Station or Tolworth Station. From Surbiton you will need to get the K1 or 281 Bus to Tolworth Hospital and from Tolworth station it is only a 10 minute work to Tolworth hospital.

There is a canteen/restaurant on site where food and beverages are available; it has both hot and cold food. There are cafes, restaurants and shops in the local area, providing variety of menu. Parking is available on site (subsidised fares for all substantive staff), also in the local area.
