**We are recruiting an Assistant Cook at Caerphilly County Borough Council.**

**Working hours**: 2 hours each day, that’s 10 hours a week term time only working (38 weeks per year).
**Contract Type**:Permanent/Part Time
**Location**: Maesycmmer Primary School

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Catering Team.

**Maesycwmmer Primary School**

**For the role, we ask that you have**:

- Level 2 Food Safety Safeguarding Children Manual handling Customer care. Working towards or ability to complete the qualification/s within 3 months of appointment.
- Understands the role to perform duties effectively and efficiently. Appreciates the need to support and respect equalities principles. Able to confidently answer questions on area of responsibility. Understands the impact of own work on others
- Must be able to work as part of a team. Be available for some out of hours working as required. Able to work at various sites throughput CCBC.
