Working as part of the central Procurement Operation, the Procurement Specialist will work in co-ordination with all business units to provide high quality purchasing services and support.

Reporting directly to the head of Procurement Operations the Procurement Specialist III will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement operations within a regulated environment. The individual will have proven functional competence across P2P processes for both Capex and Opex procurement channels with responsibility to lead assigned processes and initiatives without the need for direction and close supervision.

Reporting directly to the head of Procurement Operations the Procurement Specialist III will have both an energetic and motivated approach to all daily routine and purchase to pay activities, be strongly motivated to learn and improve both their role and knowledge base.

This is an internal and external facing hands on role, interacting across multiple business functions and levels of seniority.

**Key Responsibilities**

Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Review/verify all purchase requisitions & purchase orders are complete and approved following established company policies and procedures
- Create, execute, and communicate all purchase orders, referencing proper terms and contracts for Goods and Services, Operating Expenses and Capital Expenses.
- Liaison with all internal business partners to support our ERP platform, purchase requisitions, new supplier requirements, and purchase order resolutions
- Develop content and lead corporate training of ERP usage and policy standards
- Responding to supplier order queries, liaise with requestor and update where needed.
- Oversee new supplier onboarding process and maintain master supplier data
- Assist with resolution of supplier related issued such as invoice resolutions, delivery issues
- Ensure suppliers are adhering to contract commercial terms agreed.
- Work closely and support the relevant procurement category manager(s) when required.
- Work with category team(s) and the business to proactively manage supplier interactions, meet delivery timeline expectations and relationship goals.
- Drive cost saving efficiencies and value for money across the procurement function.
- Prepare, lead, and execute RFQ/I/P initiatives, ensuring delivery and clear articulation of value to procurement leadership and the business
- Explore, present, execute procurement capabilities for valued added services, e.g., e-actions, punch-out catalogues, consolidation services.
- Drive and own financial month end close activities and SOX compliant requirements.
- Provide additional support to the head of purchasing operations when required.
- Provide active role in the upkeep of training material and purchasing processes.
- Proactive and engaging approach to both personal and team objectives providing monthly updates.
