We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated results focused leader possessing both commercial acumen and the ability to drive our daily operations to develop and grow our recycled aggregates facility. The role is based in Colwick, Nottinghamshire.

The Aggregates Manager will be responsible for the profitable growth and development of our Aggregates recycling business. Through generating commercial opportunities you will be responsible for growing revenue & margin for recycled aggregates and incoming disposal of inert recyclable. This will include sales, innovation, exploring potential new markets whilst managing our existing customer base to maximise all opportunities in addition to driving efficiency improvements and cost control.
You will also have full responsibility for managing and motivating operational staff and a small team of HGV drivers, ensuring high standards of Health & Safety, compliance, process efficiency and profitability.

**Aggregates Manager Responsibilities Include**:

- Driving Health and safety standards through the team, reducing risk of injury and workplace exposure
- Co-ordinate and process customer enquiries and orders to meet customer service demands whilst optimizing road fleet cost efficiency
- With a focus on maximising financial performance, undertake regular profit forecasting based on sales data, new orders, enquiries and known / predicted costs.
- Review monthly performance and identify development
- Continuously develop processes, products, service offerings that improve the Aggregates operations and complement other Enva operations to grow business revenue and also reduce costs
- Effectively manage the operations team as to scheduled inputs and required processing action / inspection / yield & quality feedback to enhance product coding & associated margin
- Liaise with Yard Supervisor to optimize stock levels and ensure efficient use of machinery, through regular servicing and maintenance
- Co-ordinate servicing and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant, as well as road vehicles and maintain records whilst ensuring expenditure remains within budgetary control.
- Ensure that Daily Site Logs, Pre-Start Checks and vehicle inspections are completed to the required frequency and standard and action the rectification of any defects
- Review Risk Assessments / Method Statements / Safe Working procedures with appropriate follow-up training to Aggregates employees and generating additional safety documents for new equipment, processes or procedures as Aggregates operations develop
- Undertake regular plant inspections and audits of the workplace to ensure the required safety standards for equipment and personnel are being attained
- Monitor Plant reliability and uptime to maximize efficiency and target areas for improvement.
- Provide daily cover for Weighbridge operations for incoming and outgoing materials.

We are proud to say that in excess of 95% of the waste is diverted from landfill.

We operate from a 20 Acre site in Nottingham with 300 employees across our Nottingham and Leicester sites.

**Salary**: £40,000 - £45,000 p/a based on skills and experience
