Accounts Assistant

**Assistant Accountant**
**3 days per week -**
**My client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support the FC 3 days per week. You'll be a conscientious, numerate and self-motivated with good communication skills.**
**Your daily To-Do list might look like this;**
- Manage Purchase Ledger, matching purchase invoices against GRNI and investigating differences
- Posting purchase invoices and managing invoice authorisation
- Generating/posting payments and remittances
- Maintaining various internal and group spreadsheets
- Liaising with other group companies when required
- Assisting with creating and posting monthly journals/accruals/prepayments
- Bank reconciliations
- Control of Petty Cash and Employee expenses
- Recording overtime hours and preparing monthly payroll adjustment sheet
- Recording employee holidays and sickness and running updates/reports
- Maintaining records archiving for company
- Supervising a part time credit controller and managing sales ledger (350 live accounts) covering for credit control during their holidays and in the afternoon when required
- Allocating cash
- Managing and monitoring customer credit limits/overdue accounts
- Managing credit notes
- Generating rent invoices
- Maintaining Excel spreadsheets
- Petty cash and expenses
- Recording employee/sickness
