**HR Advisor - Cumbernauld**

With a current portfolio of over 300 stores nationwide we are currently expanding across the UK.

We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced Personnel Department based at our offices in Cumbernauld as an HR Advisor providing a high-quality support service to all operational areas of our business.

**The role**:

- Disciplinary and grievance case management, including analysis of investigation, preparation of documentation and providing advice and guidance to senior management, seeing the case through from the beginning until the end.
- Management of longterm absence cases and providing guidance and assistance to senior management on how best to manage this, involving Occupational Health where necessary.
- Develop a strong understanding of the department policies and procedures.
- Forge and develop links between the department and the teams at shop/depot level to ensure the highest level of service is offered at all times.

**The person**:

- You will have a degree or equivalent or be at least partCIPD qualified.
- You will have a basic understanding of current employment law with some previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar role.
- You will have strong communication skills (both verbally and written) enabling you to deal with all management levels.
- You will be well organised and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- You will have good IT skills, in particular Word and Excel.
- You will be hardworking and able to work independently to strict schedules and able to display good time management skills.
