Looking for a part-time PSHE teacher? Look no further Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced PSHE teacher to join our team starting on April 17th until the end of the academic year. This is a great opportunity to make a differencein the lives of young students while earning a competitive salary between £120 - £210 per day based on qualifications and experience. This role is 4 days per week.

As a PSHE teacher, your primary duties will include:

- Delivering engaging and informative PSHE lessons to students aged 11-16.
- Developing and implementing PSHE curriculum in line with national guidelines and school policies.
- Encouraging and promoting positive behavior, relationships and attitudes towards health and wellbeing.
- Creating a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and express their opinions.
- Monitoring and assessing students' progress regularly and providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Liaising with other staff members and parents to identify any issues and provide support for students who may be struggling.
- Organising and leading extracurricular activities that promote healthy living and social responsibility.
- Keeping up-to-date with developments in PSHE education, including new initiatives, policies and research.

Requirements for the role:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A strong understanding of national PSHE curriculum guidelines and policies.
- Experience in teaching PSHE, preferably in a secondary school setting.
- Knowledge of current trends and research in PSHE education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies.
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the classroom.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- A willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
