**Washroom Service Technician - Armagh**
**Monday to Friday - Early Start Early Finish - Optional Weekend Overtime**

That includes a lot of tampons and nappies Don’t worry - thanks to our partnerships with other waste management companies, we divert most of itaway from landfill and use it to create renewable energy This means there are houses across the UK currently being powered by our customers used nappies and period products.

We’re currently looking for someone to join our team in Armagh to collect washroom waste from our customer’s sites and return it to our depot based in Ballymena on a weekly basis.
Your time will be split. You’ll spend around a third of your day driving around customer sites - On average you’ll drive 80 miles per day, or 18,000 miles per year. The route is pre-planned and will feed through to your PDA so you don’t need to worry aboutspending time planning the journey.
You’ll start early, but that means you finish early too. There’s overtime available at weekends, but you don’t have to work weekends if you don’t want to.
The rest of your time will be spent in customer sites - Depending on your route, this could be a full day in one large site, on other days it may be 30 stops into small businesses. You’ll arrive - say a quick “How are you” friendly welcome to the customer -then empty their sanitary and nappy bins and service their urinals in a discreet, hygienic manner. You’ll also replenish any other phs products they have (Vending machines, Air Fresheners etc ). If they’re a new customer, you may find yourself installing smallproducts - So being handy with a drill is a plus.
The role has a real focus on customer service - you’re the person our customers see on a daily basis and it’s your service that keeps our customers happy and wanting to continue working with us.

**The key responsibilities of a Service Technician at phs are;**:

- Driving to our customers on your allocated route.
- Emptying and cleaning Sanitary Disposal Bins
- Servicing Urinals
- Replacing, emptying and maintaining our other products within our customers washrooms.
- Returning to your allocated depot twice a week to replenish your stock and remove waste from your van.
- Have the patience to travel between our customers during busy times (Traffic issues are an unavoidable part of this job).
- Live locally (it makes your job easier).
- Be able to work flexibly between the hours of 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Be comfortable working in and around customer washrooms and toilets (male, female and unisex)
- Have held a full UK Manual Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points.
- Not have DR/DD/CD/TT/IN/AC endorsements in the past 5 years.

Your annual leave will be 31 days (inclusive of Christmas Day) so you have 30 days to book throughout the holiday year. Due to the nature of our work, bank holidays are normal working days except for Christmas Day.
