We are looking for a well-motivated and organised person to join us at Closeburn Primary School. You will work 15 hours 45 minutes per week, 38 weeks per year, to undertake a broad range of clerical duties.

You may on occasion be asked to work at our partner school Penpont.

You must have SCQF Level 6/NC/Highers or equivalent, experience of dealing with the public and children. An aptitude for PC work and knowledge of office systems and equipment are essential. You must be flexible and have a pleasant manner. Good interpersonal skills are essential as is a full understanding of the need for absolute confidentiality. An ability to work with the minimum of supervision is essential. Knowledge of Financial Record Keeping and procedures is desirable.

Applicants who have been resident outside the UK within the last 5 years, if offered a position, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check, will be required to provide a completed police record check from the police authority in the country or countries in which they were resident.
