We currently have several permanent vacancies to join our team based at Madras College, St Andrews. All posts are Monday to Friday, working 10, 15 or 20 hours per week either term time 38-week or 52-week contracts as required.

**Catering Assistant**
- **Madras College - 20 hours per week, 38-week or 52-week contracts (as required 4 hours per day between 8am to 2:30pm)**:

- **Madras College - 15 hours per week, 38-week or 52-week contracts (as required 3 hours per day between 8am to 2:30pm)**:

- **Madras College - 10 hours per week, 38-week or 52-week contracts (as required 3 hours per day between 8am to 2:30pm)**

You will earn a competitive salary of £22,525.71 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.00 per hour for this post.
- £12.00 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is every 4 weeks and annualised for 38-week contracts.
- Access to and support with a training opportunities and qualifications for the job.

- Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland).

This work is about providing customer service, ensuring pupils and staff receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference whether its Breakfast Club, Morning Break or Lunch you have served.

No previous experience required as on the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.

**The Person**

**Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.**

Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
