SLC have a fantastic opportunity for a Vendor Lead to join our busy and growing Commercial Team based at our offices in Glasgow city centre.

The Vendor Lead will play a key role within the Commercial Contract team, commercially managing a number of key strategic suppliers / contracts. You will take ownership and accountability to generate maximum value from contracts and deliver added-value benefit.

You will also define, manage, prioritise and report on value-add programmes of work with your designated suppliers and further manage contract spend and forecast working with the Finance Business Partner and operational leads to ensure consumption is within budget.

**SLC offer a Blend working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.**

**Person specification**:

- Demonstrable Commercial acumen with the ability to deliver to strict deadlines,
- Track record of delivering commercial contract reporting and a strong understanding of financial management of contract spend,
- Experience of RAID log creation/maintenance,
- Advanced MS Office suite knowledge, including PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project,
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility for own work whilst demonstrating strong levels of accuracy and attention to detail, both numerical and written alongside excellent organisational, administrative and planning skills,
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and communicate effectively with senior managers and directors,
- Degree qualified or significant experience in a similar role.
