Chrysalis Not for Profit Ltd is looking for a tutor for the Level 4 Chrysalis Diploma in Counselling Skills and Theory course in Birmingham.

Chrysalis was established in 1998 and is the UK’s largest training provider of Counselling and Hypnotherapy courses with over 3000 students across the UK. Our courses are all mapped to the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) from level 3 to level 6, Chrysalis is an approved centre for The Prince’s Trust. Chrysalis also holds recognition from professional bodies such as The National Counselling Society and The National Hypnotherapy Society as well as being ISO: 9001 accredited.

As a large training provider of Ofqual registered and accredited courses, consistency of approach and ethos across the delivery of our training is imperative.

The role of tutor is a role of close contact with a class of students throughout a teaching year. Students will look to their tutor to deliver the curriculum set, and to provide relevant and appropriate advice and support in a clear way consistent with the Chrysalis ethos throughout their training journey. Considerable anxiety, demotivation and confusion will arise if students are given conflicting information to our training ethos.

Teaching a class (between 10 - 25 students) once a month on a Saturday or Sunday. Classes run for a full day, generally from 10 am to 5 pm

A minimum of 3 years in practice is required. Have a minimum Level 5 counselling qualification and experience in the field of counselling (integrative/pluralistic approach). Teaching experience or confidence to work with groups required (teaching qualifications not necessary)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £250.00 per month
