Do you have financial services experience, and are you seeking a new job in Birmingham? Culture Recruitment Group is helping a retail company find a full-time Financial Analyst in Birmingham, and the role comes with a salary of up to £28k pa.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be contributing to the effectiveness of the financial accounting team by identifying areas for continuous improvement and providing input and information to achieve problem resolution.

In your first weeks in this financial services role, you can expect to:

- Assist in the production of month-end reconciliations for all inventory-related accounts
- Ensure inventory records within the business are accurately maintained and assist in the accounting and financial reporting for the UK-based distribution company
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports for senior management and external audit
- Maintain regular dialogue with key departments around the business to ensure that the financial impact of inventory and margin-related activities are fully considered and communicated to management.
- 1 or above or equivalent European Financial qualification
- Experience preparing month-end accounts, preferably at a multisite company
- Experience of a retail environment and experience of accounts preparation for non-UK based operations is desirable.
