**Senior Strategist Inflation Market**
**London**

This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.

As Barclays Senior Strategist - Inflation Market, you will be a part of Rates Research team, driving research coverage of the UK and European Inflation-linked Markets. You will be responsible for developing differentiated market research, generating well-formed trade recommendation, and pro-actively communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders via written research reports, meetings, and other channels.

**What will you be doing?**
- Being responsible for analysing and monitoring the UK and European inflation markets and factors driving those markets
- Producing regular high-quality macro and micro analysis-based research reports related to those markets
- You will be responsible for generating actionable UK and European inflation-market trade ideas
- Proactively communicating though both formal and informal channels, published market themes and ideas with internal stakeholders, as well as external stakeholders
- Collaborating with research colleagues, in particular with Global Inflation-linked Research team, but also the UK and European Economics teams, Macro Research group and others

**What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous involvement and understanding of European and UK Inflation markets
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing

**Where will you be working?**

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
