Newsome Limited, temperature and humidity control specialists based in Elland, West Yorkshire is experiencing a period of expansion and is looking for a confident and outgoing individual to join our Customer Service Team to work with our customers to understand their needs and respond to their queries, as well as assisting the planning and account management team in their daily duties.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years customer service experience who is willing to learn new skills, is a team player and works well under pressure.

Reporting into the Hire Manager and working as part of a team, key duties of the Hire Coordinator include:

- Provide first line contact for customers.
- Take orders for hire of equipment and process through to completion.
- Plan delivery and collection of orders in accordance with customer requirements.
- Process all orders to IT systems and paperwork relating to hires, off-hires and inter-depot transfers.
- Ensure that all equipment hired to customers has been properly tested in accordance with company procedures.
- Liaise with the depot teams to ensure equipment is available for hire.
- Maintain knowledge of the division’s equipment for hire and sale
- Respond to customer requests and queries in a timely and professional manner.

**Hire Coordinator Specification**:The ideal Hire Coordinator will ideally:

- Have experience in a hire coordinator position, (this specific experience is not essential).
- Essential experience includes administration and customer service.
- Be customer service orientated and passionate about delivering a first-class service.
- Have strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and be quick at picking up in-house systems and procedures.
- Be able to work as part of a small team in a large open plan office.
- Come from a busy and fast-paced environment.
- Be able to prioritise their own workload and multi-task.
- Be able to problem solve.
- Full training will be provided.
- Microsoft Office (mainly Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Attention to Detail.
- Strong Communication Skills
- Organised with close attention to Detail
- Experience of working in similar level of administrative / scheduler
- Experience in dealing with customer queries
- To have a friendly and professional telephone manner
- To have the ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise

**Company benefits**
- Location : Elland, West Yorkshire
- Salary : £25,000 - £30,000
- 25 Days Holiday plus statutory holidays
- Pension scheme
- Company bonus scheme (after initial qualifying period)
- The role is full time, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
