**Salary**: Up to £26,000 per annum

**Working hours**: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 12:30 on a Friday

**R&D Technician Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Research & Development team with administrative duties.
- Project File Management
- Produce and update R&D project and production support material.
- Inspect incoming components and finished products.
- Maintain and drive company vehicles to other sites, suppliers, customers or maintenance garages.
- Collect and deliver equipment/ vehicles.
- Ensure that all equipment used is calibrated, tested and within date.
- Organising recalibration of equipment
- Ensure safe working practices and Company health & safety policy is observed at all times.
**R&D Technician required skills & experience**:

- At least 3 years' experience in a production or R & D administrative role.
- Desktop publishing and technical writing
- Practical working knowledge of mechanical engineering including production procedures
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods
- Knowledge of stock control and logistics
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Microsoft Office package)
- Some CAD experience/ awareness of the software
- Working knowledge / experience within ISO 9001 system.
- A levels/ NVQ level 3/ equivalent engineering qualifications
