**Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum plus an excellent bonus & benefits package**
**Location: Newcastle (Hybrid Office/Home working)**

We are looking for a **passionate**and driven **Ecommerce Manager** to join our highly dynamic and **growing business**. This role is an exciting opportunity, working within a successful team**,**to drive sales through the growth and development of the company website.
**Main Purpose of Job**:As part of a highly talented digital team, the Ecommerce Manager thrives to build strong internal relationships and drive sales through an effective visual merchandising and pricing strategy through internal sales channels. They will be a commercially focused,ambitious individual who can deliver results through exceptional management of external and internal stakeholders.Strong product knowledge, focus on sales and the ability to be flexible in a dynamic e-commerce environment is key. **The Role**:
- Responsible for business development within the e-commerce side of the business including driving incremental sales via creation, development and implementation of trading strategies to increase market share and category leadership.
- Listing new products and managing existing listings on the specified sales channels
- Work with the Product Development and Design team to focus on channel driven NPD requirements.
- Enhance the performance of the product portfolio across dedicated accounts, through maximising range review opportunities, an aligned brand plan and focused consumer research.
- Ensure strong internal relationship across both the E-Commerce trading team and cross functionally to ensure commercial plans are delivered.
- Reporting performance within channels to senior level on a weekly basis, with accurate and informative metric reporting to drive sales decisions.
- Develop and drive day to day management and opportunities within specified sales channels
- Strong awareness of the competitive landscape with a focus on implementing strategies to increase market share.
- Working with the Marketing and Graphic Design team to ensure content and visual product representation is consistently of the highest standard to showcase the quality of our brand.
**Relevant Experience**:
- Dynamic, driven and focussed individual with a track record of achievement, preferably within a commercial environment
- Strong third-party account management experience
- Proven track record of brand development, particularly from a customer-centric perspective
- Preferably 2 years’ experience in SEO strategy and implementation (technical, on page and off page)
- Ideally experience using Magento, or other similar CMS systems
- An understanding of web technologies including HTML, PHP,.NET, CSS & JavaScript
- Proven search engine rankings results (+ traffic and conversions)
- Mix of broad digital marketing skills and preferably (but not essential) specific knowledge of online marketing in an online retail environment
- Excellent working knowledge of Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Open Site Explorer, Advanced Web Ranking, Google Adwords and other SEO/SEM related reporting products
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel
- Strong knowledge of link building, content writing, search engine requirements, tracking, reporting and monitoring.
- Experience using leading SEO tools (Moz, Webmaster Tools, Majestic, Search Metrics, Omniture or similar)
