Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be partnered with North Derbyshire business to recruit a Lead EC&I Engineer.
My client is an innovative and industry leading company with specialist expertise and experience in the design, manufacture and installation of environmental solutions for the aluminium industry.
Their in-house developed products and pioneering processes actively support waste reduction and recovery, aimed at reducing their customers' carbon footprint and environmental impact.
The company is part of an NYSE listed global organisation with over 11,000 people operating in over 30 countries. Their headquarters are in Chesterfield, where the main manufacturing and R&D facilities are located. Additional manufacturing and assembly facilitiesare located in the state of Pennsylvania, USA.
My client has registered numerous patents internationally and is a former recipient of the Queen's Award for Enterprise, an honour recognising its leading position in the market.

The Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for designing and specifying the EC&I aspects of £multi-million process plants.
The EC&I Engineer's duties will include:

- Provide strong engineering leadership across all projects
- Ensure departmental objectives as set by the leadership team are met
- Ensure all engineering is in line with best practice and complies with legislative, client and internal standards
- Support the new product development team with EC&I
- Select the appropriate engineering software and tools to produce the engineering deliverables
- Determine project engineering specifications in line with client requirements
- Define the engineering scope required to deliver suitable engineering information for quotation, procurement, manufacturing, site installation, site commissioning and as built information for all products
- Qualified in Electrical Engineering Engineering
- Significant experience of Electrical & Controls systems design
- Knowledge of chemical / process plants
- Able to identify and form relationships with vendors and suppliers
- History of leading and directing teams
- Confident with good written and oral communications skills
