Are you an experienced Accounts Payable clerk? Have you managed the full cycle accounts payable process including payment runs? Do you have strong communication skills and the ability to tackle difficult queries? If so, we would love to hear from you.
Sheridan Maine is working in collaboration with a successful FMCG company that is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk. The firm supports hybrid working, where you will spend some time at their Bristol based office working with the accounts payable team.You will be expected to lead from the front and will be reporting directly to the Finance Department.
Responsibilities of the AP Clerk will include:
- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
- Perform supplier account reconciliations
- Obtaining all copy invoices
- Ensure invoices have the correct authorisation as per company policy
- Support other members of the team as required
- Reconciliation and resolution of Debit Balances on Supplier Accounts
You will ideally have at least one year of experience with a strong accounts payable skill set. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables / v look ups), good communication skills and a target driven and hard-working attitude are key.
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
