**JOB OVERVIEW**

The University of Sheffield International College and its programmes are provided by Study Group in collaboration with the University of Sheffield. We are currently looking for Mathematics Tutors to join The University of Sheffield International College.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

In this job, you will deliver our Mathematics provision, teaching groups of international students primarily on our Level 3 programme. Teaching hours may also be available in one of the following Level 6 modules: Mathematics, Statistics or Java Programming. Our class sizes are on average between 18-20 students, and you will be given the autonomy to be innovative and engaging to enhance the learning experience. You will undertake marking and feedback provision on a formative and summative basis, and you will have the chance to support the development of the student’s independent learning.

**EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
- A degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Physical Sciences.
- A relevant Masters degree or PhD is required to teach on the Pre-Masters programmes
- Teaching qualification (Desirable)
- Experience of teaching Mathematics in UK Higher, Further Education or Sixth form (Essential)
- Experience of teaching Mathematics or Statistics or Java Programming at level 6 (Desirable)
- Assessment marking experience at a minimum of level 3 (Essential)
- Experience of working with international students (Desirable)
