The position of SEND Lead will join other dedicated professionals to manage a team of staff within a curriculum area, whilst also providing exceptional student support and preparing young people for adulthood.

The qualifications deemed essential for the post are a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C) also educated to minimum Level 3 in Learning Support, trained in moving and handling, administering medication and 1st aid or be willing to obtain within 2 years. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
