Forklift Driver

**This job would consist of 50% fork lift driving and 50% production and stores work.**

- Our Client supply to major organisations and their business has grown significantly leading to investment in new machinery and expansion to their state of the art site based in Bangor._
- Purpose of the role you will be the main link between production operators and shop floor, feeding materials via fork-lift to ensure flow of materials for all operational purposes. _
- We are looking for an individual with a “can do” attitude to work, someone who can work well within a team working environment yet can use own initiative to determine prioritization of workloads. _

**HOURS OF WORK**
- 39 hours per week

**Start date: ASAP**
- **Hourly rate: £11.00 per hour - £12.00 per hour depending on experience.**:

- **Holiday pay: £1.25 per hour worked accumulative weekly per hour.**:

- **Pension: 3% EMPLOYERS & EMPLOYEE**:

- **DAY SHIFT ONLY 8 am - 5pm**:

- **OVERTIME: £16.50 per hour after 39 hours**

**Job Description & Daily Duties**
- You shall be required to pick vital parts to ensure the flow of export is met accordingly with internal targets. _
- This shall be completed via hand held scanner (previous experience in usage of hand held scanner is preferable). _
- Some lines (which would be plastic _**colour coded tubbing**_) may be too high and you will require fork lift driver to assist you with retrieving the product to keep up to speed with target picking._
- Then you shall take all correct items and palletise them for dispatch department. _
- Ensuring work place is safe & tidy you shall report any spillages or items not in correct area to line manage or supervisor. _
- If you have cannot locate any items you report to your supervisor. _
- Lifting shall be involved in this role, this shall be within guidelines of kilograms per person. _
- Working closely with your colleagues ensuring team work and communication is flowing from your department to dispatch team. _
- (each colour coded part is highly valuable and client focused, your picking accuracy and understanding of stores, picking and dispatch is paramount to this role as once picked this product is delivered to “Our Clients’” Global customer base). _

**Essential Criteria**
- IN DATE COUNTERBALANCE FORK LIFT
- Previous experience of assembly in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of working in fast paced factory environment working to targets.
- A “Can do” attitude.
- Experience of working with hand held electrical tools.
- Organised and able to schedule workloads and adhere to targets.
- Sound work history with excellent timekeeping & attendance record.
