**Job Role/Responsibilities**
- Responsible for growing metalwork employing our signature electroplating process.
- Maintaining our process chemistry - chemical formulas and solutions, electrolyte solution pH and density etc.
- Responsible for maintaining quality in our metalwork - being consistent and following procedures to the letter is key.
- Day-to-day includes operating an array of chemical and mechanical machinery, some of which require a delicate touch and technical understanding - this will be developed during your probationary/training period.
- Safety is a key part of our core beliefs therefore, operatives must follow our safety protocols at all times.
**Working Schedule**
7:00 - 14:30 Monday to Friday
(_Weekend work and overtime available during periods of high WIP - additional hours during weekdays and Saturdays paid at 1.5x hourly rate - Sundays paid at 2x hourly rate_)

**Education**
- A Levels or equivalent in any field, preferred.
- GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths, English and Science, preferred - _English speaking/understanding must be at a high level to be able communicate problems clearly to supervisors, management and engineering. _
**Experience/Job History**
- Experience in electroplating/galvanising would be ideal.
- Experience working in manufacturing, in a quality-focused environment, would be ideal.
- Experience working with chemicals and/or in hazardous environments would be beneficial, especially with some form of H&S training/qualification.
**Key Skills/Characteristics**
- Calm and collected - problems will arise regularly due to the age of our machinery and the nature of the work - being able to make considered decisions and stay calm when things go wrong is a key characteristic in a good Galvanics Operative.
- Structured and reliable - the company faces strict deadlines and we require our staff to be consistent and reliable in order to be able to achieve these deadlines.
