Job Title: Payroll Administrator (temporary until May 2025)

Hours: 20 per week, actual hours of work to be agreed

Location: Office based in Tredegar, South Wales

**Salary**: Competitive, depending on experience

Responsible to: Financial Controller

Main purpose of job: Reporting to Financial Controller the Payroll Administrator carries out the day-to-day duties of the payroll function currently circa 100 heads. The role will require regular communication with other departments.

- Experience of implementing necessary regulatory changes within an equivalent payroll software
- Experience in using software (Equator) Main tasks:

- Payroll administration UK: - Processing Monthly Payroll inclusive of setting up new employees, tax code updates, reviewing time sheets and liaising with managers for holiday/overtime queries.
- Issuing and setting up clocking cards for employees.
- Monitoring/clearing clock in card errors.
- Liaising with IT consultants on any new regulatory processes.
- Sending Payroll reports to Finance Director for review and final payment.
- US payroll - downloading reports, posting journals.
- DE payroll - posting journals, sending out payslips.
- Employee expense processing, payment, and journal postings.
- KPIs - Atendance, Sickness, Overtime.
- Making Monthly pension and AOE payments
- Reconcile Payroll clearing and associated control accounts monthly.
- Journals to post payroll for the month.
- Payroll cost analysis and reconciliation.
- Head Count reporting.
- KPI - Absence and lost days.
- Bradford Factor reporting.
- Other related continuous improvement acticities as required
- HR Admin support
- Other Finance duties
- Supporting Ad hoc project work and assisting HR.
- Company/Private cars - keep all information up to date.
- Submittng P11Ds.
- Updating mileage rates on Expenses portal in line with HMRC.
- Updating pay rates.
