Apprentice Engineer

Our product ranges cover all hygiene environments such as away-from-home washrooms, healthcare and leisure facilities, on-premise and industrial laundries and professional kitchens.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a keen interest in engineering and who will commit to a 4 year apprenticeship scheme with additional automations and robotics training. Working within a supportive environment you will have the opportunity tolearn about production techniques to compliment your studies which be on a day release arrangement during tern time.

Areas of responsibility will include:

- Providing technical assistance in the resolution of equipment and plant malfunctions, carry out fault-finding repairs (mechanical, electrical and PLC programming) and repair as necessary.
- Designing, manufacturing and implementing new plant equipment into the production.
- Developing and refining local operating procedures to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
- Developing and implementing planned maintenance of jigs, fixtures, plant and other equipment to minimise efficiency losses to production whilst carefully controlling costs.
- Setting and striving to improve housekeeping standards through the use of the 6S approach
