Established in 1998, IPCHL are a passive fire protection contractor working for tier one contractors in the North East and London regions.

We are seeking a motivated Junior QS / Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start their career in administration and gain valuable experience in a dynamic work environment. You will play a crucial role in our project pricing and execution process. You will work closely with our senior estimator and project managers to prepare accurate and competitive bids for fire protection projects. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine materials, labour, and equipment requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for groundworks projects.
- Assist in the review and negotiation of contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and expenses.
- Support project managers in the planning and scheduling of work activities.
- Support the renewal of sector certifications and contractor PQQ requirements.
- Support with the production of O&M manuals at the end of each project.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a similar estimating role.
- A understanding of construction methods.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and word.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: £26,500.00-£33,500.00 per year
