Vatting Operator

**Job Purpose**

**To carry out the activities required in preparation of Spirit to agreed recipes for use in production, tanker filling and unloading. Control of vats & spirit to ensure correct usage, Management of the Demineralised Water Source, and preparing Vats for use.**

**Responsibilities**
- Preparing Spirit to Defined Recipes
- Tanker uploading & filling
- Ensure paperwork is accurate & up to date
- Monitors & ensures Demineralised Water meet the required specifications
- Ensure all spirit is handled safely, and that all spirit is utilised correctly
- Ensure Vatting Room & Vats are kept to a Hygienic Standard, and Vats are correctly prepared for use
- Chill and/or Filter Spirit as required
- At all times ensure that Health & Safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility in accordance with company Health and Safety policy, procedures, practices, and legislation.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience of working in an alcoholic bottling environment
- Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrates a logical, methodical approach to work
- Ability to follow instructions and see tasks through to completion
- Can work well in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Observant with a keen eye for detail
- Enthusiastic and organised approach

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £21,044.40 per year

- 10 hour shift
